Carole Jean Eggers, age 67, of Landenberg, PA., died Wednesday March 25, 2009 at the Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA. She was the wife of the late Thomas C. Eggers, who died in 2000 and with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.Born in Oak Hill, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ira and the Janie Woodrum Dilly.
She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include three daughters; Janice Brown of Jennersville, Donna Lewis of Avondale, and Tammy M. Pierce of Landenberg, two sons, Freddie Eggers of West Grove, and Frankie Eggers of Landenberg, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was pre deceased by a grandson Billy Lewis.
